Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record: it charges you, issues the invoice in your name and applies your country’s taxes. The license is granted by the owner above, who provides support and is responsible for the app.
2. The product
Altitude is an app for macOS 14 or later (Apple silicon and Intel) that checks Google rankings through the user’s own DataforSEO account. Altitude Pro is a perpetual license, not a subscription.
You need a DataforSEO account to use Altitude, whose cost and terms are separate from this license, or an Altitude balance (section 10). The app shows the estimated cost before every request; with your own account, what DataforSEO charges is up to DataforSEO.
The trial version is free and does not expire: it allows 1 project and 2 keywords with every feature, no card needed, so you can try the app with your own data before buying. Altitude Pro removes those limits.
3. Price and payment
The launch price rises in steps as licenses are sold: you pay the price shown when you pay, and it does not change afterwards. If a step sells out while you are on the checkout page, the price you opened it with is honoured.
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) before taxes. Dodo Payments, as merchant of record, adds VAT or other indirect taxes that apply in your country, and the checkout page shows the final amount, with taxes itemized, before you confirm. That final amount is what you pay.
You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and the other methods Dodo Payments offers in your country. Dodo Payments issues the invoice and emails it to you.
4. Delivery
The license key appears on the confirmation page as soon as the payment is confirmed and is also emailed to you. If it does not arrive, recover it at altituderank.com/license, see it at altituderank.com/account or write to us.
5. Withdrawal and refunds
You have 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw and get a full refund, without giving a reason, even if you have already activated the key. The quickest way is the online withdrawal form at altituderank.com/withdrawal, which emails you a receipt with the date and time right away.
You can also write to [email protected] or reply to the purchase email with your email address or key.
We refund through the same payment method within 14 days of your request. The key then stops validating and the app returns to the trial version. Your data on the Mac is not touched.
6. License to use
- Each license runs on one Mac at a time. Activating ties it to that computer; to change Mac, deactivate it in Settings › License and activate it on the new one. If you cannot (for instance, the old Mac broke), release it from altituderank.com/account or write to us and we will do it.
- To use Altitude on several Macs at the same time you need one license per Mac.
- The key is personal: it may not be published, shared, resold or used to bypass activation.
- You may not decompile or modify the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
- The license includes every version 1 update. A future major version might be sold separately, discounted for existing license holders, and the version you bought will keep working.
7. Warranty and liability
If you are a consumer, you have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under Spanish and EU law. If the app does not work as described, we will help you fix it and, if that is not possible, refund you.
Altitude shows data that comes from DataforSEO and Google; we do not guarantee ranking results and are not liable for errors or outages of those services. Except where the law does not allow it, in particular towards consumers, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.
8. Support
We answer at [email protected], usually within one or two business days, in Spanish or English.
9. Governing law, jurisdiction and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction; if you buy as a business, the courts of Barcelona (Spain).
Before filing a complaint, write to us: we solve almost every problem in the first email. As a consumer you can also contact your local consumer protection services.
10. Altitude balance
The Altitude balance is a prepaid balance in US dollars for using Altitude without your own DataforSEO account: the app sends its requests to our server, which runs them on DataforSEO with our account. It is optional, can be bought during the free trial too, and is separate from the license.
Top-ups: the amounts and the bonus of each are those shown when you buy, on the website or in the app. Dodo Payments charges them as merchant of record, with any applicable taxes, just like the license. You buy them in the app or at altituderank.com/balance, with your account.
Usage: each request takes from the balance what DataforSEO charges for it, in dollars, multiplied by our margin. The app shows the estimated cost before each request and the balance history with every charge. A request DataforSEO cannot run takes nothing. If we raise our margin, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days in advance and you can ask for a refund of the unused balance.
Auto-recharge (optional): when you turn it on, you save your card with Dodo Payments and authorize us to charge the top-up you choose each time the balance drops below the minimum you set, at most once every 15 minutes. You can turn it off or remove the card in the app at any time, and every charge shows in the history.
The balance does not expire, can only be used in Altitude, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred. With Altitude Pro the balance goes with your license’s email and shows up on any Mac where you activate it. A balance bought on the website goes with your altituderank.com account; if its email is not your license’s, the “Open in Altitude” button in your account or in the payment email opens it in the app.
Withdrawal: you have 14 calendar days from each top-up to withdraw, and we refund the part you have not used. If we close the balance service, we will refund whatever balance is left.
We may block a balance used outside Altitude (for example, to reach the DataforSEO API from other tools) or to resell the data; we then refund the unused part, except in cases of fraud.
