Cookie policy
Updated 3 October 2026
Which cookies and local storage altituderank.com uses, what they are for and how you decide. The necessary ones make the site work; everything else only runs with your consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time.
Necessary
They remember your privacy choice and your session in My account. They are technical and need no consent.
How your consent works
- If the site uses analytics or advertising, on your first visit you see a notice with three options of equal weight: Reject all, Accept all and Customize. Until you choose, only necessary cookies run. Rejecting takes no feature of the site away.
- In Customize you choose category by category (analytics and advertising, as far as they are switched on for the site) and see each cookie with its owner, duration and purpose.
- We ask before anything in every country: we apply the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules (Spain’s LSSI-CE), UK GDPR, the Swiss data protection act and Brazil’s LGPD, and we honour your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal (US privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA): with it on, advertising stays off.
- We use Google Consent Mode v2: every signal (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage) starts denied, and Google’s tags do not load until you accept their category.
- Your choice lasts 12 months (6 if you reject everything) and we ask again if the purposes change. We keep proof of your consent, without your IP address, for three years.
- You can change or withdraw it at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the foot of every page, or with the button above. Withdrawing it deletes Google’s cookies on this domain.
Third parties and international transfers
If you accept analytics or advertising, Google Ireland Limited processes that data as explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google may transfer it to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which it takes part.
When you click Buy you move to Dodo Payments’ checkout on its own domain. Its cookies and policy apply there, as needed to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
Deleting them from your browser
You can also clear this site’s cookies and local storage from your browser’s privacy settings (in Safari: Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data). The site keeps working: it forgets your privacy choice (you will see the notice again) and, if you were signed in to your account, signs you out.
