What’s new
What’s new in Altitude.
Every release and what it brings. The app lets you know when a new version is out and downloads it from here.
A completely new design
Version 1.1.0 · October 2, 2026- The whole app is redesigned: one bar for Google, Pages, AI, Search Console, Research, Backlinks and Local, clear white cards, and a dark mode made for it.
- Google opens with today's summary: what went up, what went down and your biggest opportunity. Ask questions about your keywords and get the answer from your own data, computed on your Mac.
- Metrics drive a trend chart with your main competitor, your notes and a 7-day forecast. The new opportunity map shows which keywords would bring the most visits in the top 3.
- Open any keyword in the table to see its history, today's results page and how many visits you would gain by climbing. Star the keywords that matter most.
- AI: follow your own ChatGPT prompts and see whether ChatGPT mentions you, next to Google's AI Overview.
- Search Console, Research, Backlinks and Local are rebuilt with the same look. Research also finds the questions people ask, and the Local grid is centred on your business.
- Settings: a daily spending limit for DataforSEO, quiet hours for notifications, a check when you open the app, the app language and the sections of your reports.
- The windows to create a project, add keywords, tags and notes are redesigned too, and View › Show Sidebar (⌃⌘S) is back.
Clearer balance notices
Version 1.0.7 · September 30, 2026- If your Altitude balance is paused, the app says so with the reason, stops checks that use it and shows how to contact us, instead of failing request after request.
- If this Mac is no longer linked to your balance, Altitude tells you right away and relinks it with one click.
- Adjustments in your balance history show their reason.
The balance, in dollars
Version 1.0.6 · September 30, 2026- The Altitude balance is now in US dollars, like DataforSEO itself: top up $10, $25 or $50, and each request costs DataforSEO’s price plus the margin, with no currency conversion in between.
- Buying balance on the website goes through your account: sign in with Apple or your email (the account is created the first time). “Open in Altitude” in your account links that balance to the Mac you are on.
Your balance, request by request
Version 1.0.5 · September 30, 2026- Open Dashboard in Settings › DataforSEO opens your account on altituderank.com already signed in: the balance, spending per day and by type of request, every request and top-up, invoices and a CSV export.
- Your account on the website works on its own too: sign in with your email and a code, no password, and manage auto-recharge and your saved card from there.
Altitude balance: no DataforSEO account needed
Version 1.0.4 · September 30, 2026- Altitude balance: choose it in Settings › DataforSEO and top up €10, €25 or €50 (the last two with 5% and 10% extra). Altitude runs the requests for you, charging DataforSEO’s price plus a margin, and every cost is shown in euros.
- With Altitude Pro the balance goes with your license and shows up on any Mac where you activate it, with nothing to link. A balance used during the trial joins it when you buy.
- Optional auto-recharge with a saved card, the balance history in Settings, and the balance in euros in the sidebar, the widget and the low-balance alert. Your own DataforSEO account keeps working exactly as before.
Exports fixed, reports within reach
Version 1.0.3 · September 30, 2026- Exporting now works everywhere: the PDF report, CSV history and backups open their save panel, and importing keywords or a backup opens its file panel. Earlier versions lacked the permission macOS needs for them.
- A Report button in the window toolbar: export or email a PDF, schedule client reports, set your branding or open the reports folder. Exported reports carry your branding too.
YouTube, AI Mode, local grid and client reports
Version 1.0.2 · September 30, 2026- YouTube and Google AI Mode as markets: the first video of your channel for each keyword, and whether Google's AI Mode answer cites your site and in which place.
- Local grid: Google Maps from every point of a 3 × 3, 5 × 5 or 7 × 7 grid around your business, on a map, with the price before you run it.
- Topics: keywords grouped by the results they share, from the checks you already paid for, with a flag when two of your pages compete.
- Client reports: a PDF with your agency's name and logo, weekly or monthly, saved to Downloads and one click away from Mail.
- Import from AccuRanker, SE Ranking, Wincher, Nightwatch, Semrush or Ahrefs: tags, target pages and search volume come along.
- Bing only offers the languages it supports; the AI tab counts the primary market only; chart labels no longer get cut off.
Backlinks, Bing and Google Maps
Version 1.0.1 · September 30, 2026- Backlinks: referring domains and backlinks with two years of monthly history, new and lost links, anchors, domain rank and follow share, side by side with your competitors, plus the sites that link to them but not to you. DataforSEO's pay-as-you-go Backlinks API, with the maximum cost shown before every update.
- Rankings on Bing and Google Maps: add them as markets of a project, next to other countries, languages and devices. Google Maps finds your business by its website, city by city.
- Cost estimates count every market at its own rate: organic results per page of ten, Google Maps per hundred places.
- A cleaner look: project favicons, a flush sidebar with quiet status lines, and cities shown by name.
First release
Version 1.0.0 · September 29, 2026- Google rank tracking on your own DataforSEO account: standard queue, batches of 100 tasks and the cost in result pages before every request.
- Customizable block dashboard: drag, resize, remove and add cards, chart, distribution, competitors, movers, pages, SERP features, share of voice, markets and Search Console.
- AI visibility: AI Overview presence and citations day by day, who the AI Overview cites on your keywords, and the ChatGPT or Google prompts that mention you, with a trend across updates.
- Discover the keywords you already rank for (DataforSEO Labs) with position, URL, volume, CPC, difficulty and intent.
- Keyword research: ideas from a seed keyword or the gap with a competitor, with volume, difficulty, intent, a 12-month trend and SERP features; each idea shows whether your site already ranks and is tracked in one click.
- Several markets per project: country, language and device, compared side by side.
- Search Console: real clicks and impressions next to the estimate, signed in from your Mac.
- Pages: keywords grouped by ranking URL, page switches and off-target pages.
- SERP history: one top 10 per week with what enters, leaves and moves.

- Interface in 10 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
These notes also ship in the update feed the app checks every day.
